- The main triangle of the DD-X is butted lightweight 7005 aluminum which Slingshot has designed specific for cross. The top-tube has been ovalized for quick hand placement during high speed dismounts, while the downtube is round allowing the rider to grab and shoulder in one quick motion. To keep things comfy during the hour long pain fest - the DD-X comes with a vibration absorbing carbon fiber rear triangle with monocoque cantilever brake pivots. The Slingshot DD-X fork is a full carbon, monocoque design featuring dual ribbed blades for unsurpassed lateral rigidity.
